If you want to do it yourself, we recommend this stollen. Coat the Stollen once or twice with hot liquid butterfat, cover it in cristalsugar and after minimum 3 hours rest, refine it with powder sugar.
Like all our products, our raisin studs are lovingly handcrafted and refined. Hand-picked sultanas, pure brand butter, best candied lemon peel and orange peel as well as sweet and bitter almonds form our "Backhaus Stollen". Post baking, the burnt sultanas are removed from the stollen surface by hand to guarantee the incomparably good taste for you.
In contrast to the "Dresdner Backhaus Christstollen - Rosinenstollen®", this raisin stollen is not buttered or sugared and therefore does not hold the golden seal of the "Schutzverband Dresdner Stollen".
Our non-buttered/unsugared raisin stollen have a shelf life of 3 months.
